Let’s ride a goat today

Next time you go the fair, why don’t you ride a goat?

This 1957 invention by W.J. Quemore imagines a special contraption for an animal-powered merry-go-round. The animal would be safely contained in a structure that would allow it to carry more than one child. The contraption would be attached to the center so the animal would run in circles.

Quemore imagined using his invention to carry multiple children, put different types of animals in the same merry-go-round, and keep the animals at a reasonably low speed. Honestly, it looks like a lot of fun, and the naming opportunities, from Merry-Goat-Round to Goat-Go-Round, are endless.
