Who needs the ice cream truck when you can have a traveling lawn sprinkler?
That’s Henry T. Crepeau’s 1892 invention. His traveling lawn sprinkler actually used water to propel the machine before it spraying onto lawns. It could go back and forth or in one direction, depending on the user’s preference. One thing’s certain: it sounds like it would be a lot of fun to watch.
